What we will see

The ancient village of Bienno hosts two important museums. The Benedictine Monks introduced the water well to operate mills and hammers used for iron working and weapon production. The forge museum, which houses an imposing 2 quintal mallet, is still in working order and used for forging demostrations and the mill museum that still grinds cereal today and also houses the museum of peasant life. In the mallet there are educational workshops where children can create objects with the embossing technique by modeling copper sheets in relief. In the mill cereal grinding workshops are carried out.
