THE NATIONAL PARK OF ROCK ENGRAVINGS  OF CAPODIPONTE

When the glaciers melted a tribe of hunters arrived, called the Camuni who started to depict their  lifestyle  on hundreds of rocks .These rock engravings where situated in an area which became sacred for them. Today it is possible to take a walk in the past through the various pathways .The National Park was opened to the public in 1955.In 1979 it became part of the  UNESCO Foundation

THE NATIONAL ARCHEOLOGICAL MUSEUM OF CIVIDATE CAMUNO

In this Museum it is possible to admire the relics found in the local roman area  of the archeological site of the Theatre ,Amphitheatre Park and from the area of the Sanctuary of Minerva. There  are many different relics for instance a mosaic floor , vases, pieces in bronze and marble but the most significant is a nude statue of a hero found in 2004 and the statue of Minerva found in 1986
